Exmouth, Western Australia - Visitor Information

Exmouth is a small town located on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. This coastal town is a popular tourist destination due to its beautiful beaches, great fishing spots, and the nearby Ningaloo Reef.

Getting There

Exmouth can be reached by car or by flying into the Learmonth Airport. If you are travelling from Perth, it is an 13-hour drive. Alternatively, flights from Perth to Learmonth Airport take approximately 2.5 hours.

Things to Do

Ningaloo Reef

The Ningaloo Reef is a must-see attraction when visiting Exmouth. This world heritage-listed reef is home to hundreds of marine species including manta rays, turtles, and whale sharks. Visitors can go snorkelling or diving to explore the reef and its inhabitants. Whale shark tours are also available during the season from March to August.
